I'm so pleased to have a moment to sit down and write to you. I hope you are enjoying the holiday season in your part of the world. The elves and I definitely are having a wonderful time as usual up here in the North Pole. I'm so pleased to see that you have behaved well this year and have made it on my good list. Congratulations!

What kind of things have you been doing with your vacation time? We are working like crazy this time of year, of course, but we still need to have at least some time to rest and play. We have a fantastic sledding hill right behind the workshop and we are planning a big sledding party after dinner tonight. I can't wait! We try to do this a few times during our busy season to unwind and have fun. For our sledding parties, Mrs. Claus always makes her special candy cane cookies and her extra chocolatey hot chocolate! Yummy! It will be a well deserved break after many long days of making toys and preparing the sleigh.

Don't forget that it is important to go to bed early on Christmas Eve.
